TECHNO HAS BEEN CENTRAL IN MY LIFE SINCE 1988
HEAR AND FEEL
MUSIC AND ME
My mother still owns an impressive collection of 45s, whose sounds accompanied me through my childhood. Already at the age of 8 (1976), I not only listened to music - when I was home alone, I opened the lid of the white faux leather record player with a blue band on the edge, which also served as a music box. I retrieved the records from the dark, massive wooden cabinet where they were well stored and waiting for their turn, and started my own private session. If caught, there would be trouble, but that didn't stop me. In fourth grade, at the age of 10, I bought my first AC/DC Maxi-Single "TNT" with my pocket money. I listened to it headbanging countless times, almost shaking my neurons out and playing air guitar along with Angus.
In 1988, Techno entered my life and the frantic headbanging transformed into smooth dance moves. The air guitar turned into arm-drawn air pictures executed in a new movement that was frowned upon by society and considered underground at that time. At the age of 20, I bought my first used MK2 turntables which I still own today, a simple Gemini mixer, and began my journey.
In March 2023, the MK2 turntables turned into a keyboard and a Mac, and vinyl turned into Reason. However, this does not mean that I have given up my babies. Creating my own songs gives me the opportunity to breathe fresh life into three decades of emotions and experiences and unite them in positive melodies. I look forward to sharing this music with all of you and experiencing unforgettable moments together.
